Lightbox Menu Design The lightbox menus were designed with several key objectives in mind: High-Quality Imagery: Using high-resolution images of the dishes to entice customers and provide a clear representation of the menu items. Clear Typography: Implementing bold, readable fonts to ensure that the menu items and prices are easily legible from a distance. Brand Consistency: Ensuring that the design aligns with Rosliston Fish Bar’s brand identity, using their color palette and logo throughout the menus. Strategic Layout: Organizing the menu items in a logical and easy-to-follow layout, highlighting popular dishes and specials. Illuminated Display: Utilizing the lightbox feature to enhance visibility and draw attention, particularly in low-light conditions.
Sourcing and Installation In addition to designing the lightbox menus, I also managed the sourcing and installation process: Vendor Selection: Identifying and partnering with reliable vendors to produce high-quality lightbox menus that met our design specifications. Quality Control: Ensuring that the produced lightbox menus matched the design mockups in terms of color accuracy, image clarity, and overall build quality. Installation Oversight: Coordinating the installation process to ensure that the lightbox menus were correctly and securely mounted, providing optimal visibility and accessibility for customers. Flexible Pricing Solution To address the need for frequent price changes due to competitive market conditions, I developed a solution using easy removable custom die-cut stickers. This approach offers several advantages: Convenience: Allows Rosliston Fish Bar to update prices quickly and easily without the need for re-designing or re-printing the entire lightbox artwork. Cost-Effective: Reduces the cost associated with frequent menu updates, as only the price stickers need to be printed and applied. Custom Design: The die-cut stickers were designed to blend seamlessly with the existing menu design, maintaining a professional and cohesive look. Durability: Printed on high-quality material to ensure longevity and ease of removal without leaving residue.
The Rosliston Fish Bar lightbox menu project was a comprehensive and rewarding endeavor that allowed me to showcase my skills in both design and project management. The final lightbox menus not only enhanced the visual appeal of the restaurant but also improved the overall customer experience by making the menu more engaging and easier to navigate. The addition of removable die-cut stickers provided a flexible and cost-effective solution for frequent price changes.
